Week One - DECISION

Well, here we go!

Today is Monday, and last week was my first week of Decision...

I found projects that have a solid foundation and Team behind them, and I've planted my feet firmly in them.

This is my journey and I'm sure it will be an exciting one. Let me tell you a little about me. My name is Jessica. I live in a small town in Texas just South of Dallas. Everyone knows about Dallas, TX. I was a teen mom, married at 17, divorced at 23 and I've been a single mom for most of the last 7 years to three awesome kids, ages 12, 10 & 9. My two oldest boys are wrapping up their first basketball season and won their last game 35 to 17. I'm very proud of them for working hard. My youngest daughter spends her days being multi-talented at getting as much stuff on her bed as possible, and then sleeping in it. I don't actually know how she manages to not fall off the bed every night, but I guess it could be that she's only about 9 inches across, lol.

Other than my kids, I am back in school after 10 years of wishing. I'm taking my last few classes to finish my Bachelor's Degree in Finance so I can decide if I want to go to Law School like I always planned to do. I am active in my church and my ministry and I love Jesus. He has saved me from so many pits and disasters in my life, if it wasn't for Him, I'd probably be dead, and that's the truth. Last year was probably one of the hardest years of my life. I won't share all the details here, but maybe someday I will... but in the end I was homeless and forced to move in with my parents, which I hadn't done in over 10 years! I clung to my Jesus and He never left me, just like He promised.

Today, I'm in my own home. Yes.. MY HOME with my name on the title. I have a man in my life that I believe was given to me by God. And... I have been blessed with some incredible income opportunities.

I'm sure you want to know WHAT I'm doing and not all the info about my life and how I got here. I believe it's important for people to know where I came from. There are no excuses in this world. Excuses are well planned lies.
If you're a single mom, You can do this.
If you're too busy, You can do this.
If you've ever been homeless, You can do this.
If you've ever been on anti-anxiety meds, You can do this.
If you've ever had a BURNING DESIRE to be success, You can do this.
If you're BROKE, You can do this.

First, let me talk to the broke folks. Figure out just how broke you are, and then decide how long you want to stay that way.

Decide to make a change!

Do you know that in the word decide is ecide... Do you know what else has ecide in it? Suicide and Homicide. Do you know what that means... SOMETHING HAS TO DIE! When you Decide to be successful, all the obstacles will DIE.

I think today's blog is long enough, so until tomorrow, make a decision!
